Hello Home #5!

This will be our fifth "home" we have lived in during the 2 1/2 years we have been married!

I get really tired of packing boxes of what we are taking and what we can leave, just to unpack, repack, and then unpack again four months later.

However we really like Tennessee and the people here(so far, for the week we have been here...we'll see in two months) and that is the part about this job that I love! I mean we have lived in 4 different states now. I really like it because we get to know different areas of the country, some of the weather, the people, and the wards at church. In turn we figure out where we wouldnt mind living and where we would rather just visit for a few weeks in the summer maybe. Not to mention we get put up in a pretty sweet place every summer and this is probably the best yet!

Here are a couple more pics.

These are a few pictures of what our neighborhood right outside out door looks like.

Living room, dining room, and kitchen.

When we get back to Provo it will be "home" #6! I like seeing all these different places but I sure do look forward to staying in one place some day...at least for a few years right?

We made it to Tennessee!

I have pictures of a couple things, but since we are "borrowing" someone's internet right now until we get our own on Wednesday I am gonna hold off on the pictures.

We did make it here late, late Friday night after about a million setbacks and delays. The trip was pretty crappy especially being pregnant! Jonny and I decided I am definately flying back since I will be 7+ months pregnant and I was already pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time.

We love Tennessee so far! The weather has been GORGEOUS, though I know it will get really hot soon. Its not the backwoods hickville I thought it might be, but I guess people are surprised to learn that when they go to Texas also. The people are so nice. I forgot how much friendlier people are in the South than they are in the West and how much I missed it. I adore that a lot of people here have a cute accent and are always willing to say hi and help if you need it! I look forward to going to our new ward! We are living in the nicest place we have lived in yet and I know I am going to have a very hard time leaving this one.

So we are doing great and totally look forward to seeing anyone that can make it out here to see us this summer!

Random annoyances

Have you seen the trailer for this new movie 88 Minutes? It looks like it's the usual "someone's out to kill someone else and they need to figure it out blah blah blah" plot. That's not a big deal. I'm getting used to Hollywood reusing tired story lines.

And yet, this movie ticks me off for some reason. I haven't even seen the darn thing and already I want to smack the people who made it!

Why?

88 Minutes.

That's why.

Why 88 minutes? Did they run out of film?

I can't even conceive of a plot that would specifically require a time limit of 88 minutes. What kind of person would devise an incredibly complicated scheme to kill another person and then assign a random time to it? Do evil masterminds dislike rounding to the nearest 5?

You never know. Maybe there's a perfectly good explanation.

Good Guy: Hello?

Bad Guy: You have 88 minutes to live.

Good Guy: What?! Who is this?!

Bad Guy: Yeah, I called you two minutes ago, but you didn't answer.

Bad Guy: Sorry.

Bad Guy: I left a voicemail, but you can disregard it at this point.

Bad Guy: I tried calling back a minute later, but I couldn't get a signal.

Bad Guy: Then I called again and got a wrong number.

Bad Guy: Unfortunately, this leaves you with only 88 minutes to live.

Bad Guy: Crap... 87...

Good Guy: Do you want to start over?

Bad Guy: Could we? I didn't think this through completely.

Good Guy: Maybe you could call me back and just say 90.

Bad Guy: I guess...

Bad Guy: Man, this is harder than I thought.

Maybe some of his complex plan revolves around some events with very strict time limitations.

Honestly, though, that just sounds like poor planning. Probably should find a new career other than Criminal Mastermind.

This really ticks me off for two reasons:

1) someone somewhere thought that making it 88 minutes instead of 90 helped the story

2) I realized that I have way too much time on my hands if this bothers me so much.

I know it's not that big a deal. But every time that commercial comes on, I want to fly to Hollywood just to slap someone. No one in particular. Just the first person I run into. If I'm in Hollywood, there's a pretty good chance whoever I slap will deserve it.

I need study break...

BUSTED!!!

But he has no idea yet! I have started packing our apartment since we are moving in less than a week and I came across an interesting find...

Jonny has taken his studying for finals to our back bedroom so I can watch TV and do things in the living room and he wont be distracted. I began cleaning up around our computer desk in that room this afternoon and look what I found!

Oh yes it looks fairly innocent with the laptop and headphones for listening to tutorial stuff but when we zoom in a little....Low and Behold!

Yup! Chips Ahoy cookies stuffed underneath the computer desk! I guess they are ideal for studying!

Jonny is currently at a training meeting for Pinnacle so has no idea. Imagine his surprise when he looks at our blog later!

I should have just waited till he was studying later and brought him a glass of milk..maybe he wont see this before then.

Our Little Gymnast!

We went to another Dr. appointment yesterday! It is so fun because we got to see the baby again! I wish we didnt have to leave because I wont get to see the baby every month with another Dr, but I guess I am just spoiled.

It was amazing to see how much the baby has grown. And holy cow was it active! It was flipping and moving all over the place like a little gymnast! Jonny was amazed that I couldnt feel it. At one point the baby faced us and I swear it waved! We were also able to hear the heart beat this time. Its becoming more and more real and I am getting so excited! The next time we see our baby we will be finding out whether it is a boy or girl. Look at how much it's grown!
One Month Ago

Yesterday

I was so excited to see a profile and flailing arms and legs!

Uncle Jim likes to write special messages to everyone. It's very fun. (I think Dad gets special preference though!)

Time with Mom and Dad

We were able to spend some time with Mom and Dad before General Conference this past weekend. It was really nice to see them since we are always on the go and often only see people during Christmas! They spent the night on Thursday and most of the day on Friday until Jonny and I both had to go to work. Dad took us on the usual morning IHOP trip...thanks Dad! After which we put him to work! At least dad read the directions!

Mom and I just hung out while the boys did the manly work!

We played some games and hung out outside because it was such a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

We also spent some time playing a game and hanging out with David and Katherine at the hotel room. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so there are no pictures. It was great to spend time with everyone before our busy summer starts!

We're Legal.....

AND LETHAL!

As unexcited as I am to have Utard plates on our car it is nice to know we can drive across the country without looking like criminals in an unregistered car. After close to a year we finally got out car registered...no we havent been pulled over once about it.

Why the complaince to the law you ask? Thats where the LETHAL part comes in. In order to get our new possession Jonny had to have a Utah Driver's license, and I told him since he was gonna be at the DMV already....

Jonny is very excited about his new gun. Honestly I am a little nervous about it but I also feel better about him going to random people's houses all summer with a little protection for himself. I'm sure after I learn how to use it, it wont be as scary.

He just likes to feel like he is turning into Jack Bauer! Dont you see the resemblance?
