Galveston Ferry

This past weekend we drove down to Galveston strictly to ride the ferry back and forth and it was AWESOME! Look at that grin on my baby's face! She thought it was "so fun" and "so cool" to ride on a boat, and even better to watch mommy and daddy throw bread to the seagulls! She tried but the bread did get very far. All the other big boats we saw were also very exciting.
This was what she thought of watching the seagulls eat bread that was thrown to them. Jonny got a great video on his camera. If we can get it off and post it we will. I am so glad we took her before it starts to get cold (if it ever does this year) We had an absolute blast!

To Papa Lawrence:

Thank you for the beautiful necklace! Its perfect! Now to explain...there are 2 parts to this...(and its a little long winded apparently)
Papa Lawrence gave all the girls necklaces for Christmas a few years ago and I have worn it a couple times but over the past 1 - 2 years I have mostly kept it in the back of my jewlery box for safe keeping from little hands that may break it and so forgot about it a little bit.
Now part 2: I have been in the "in-between -stage" of looking pregnant for over 2 months now. Something I was told would not happen since this is my second child. Just within the past week or so have people at work that dont know I am pregnant begun to notice that I actually am. Now dont get me wrong, I'm not complaining about this fact really. The problem is for 2 months now, I have been "in between" and 60% of my clothes either dont fit, or are huge and look silly on me. Add that, maternity clothes are super expensive and I cant/hate buying new ones since I dont wear them for more than a couple months. Combine that with the fact that last time I was pregnant was in the summer, so about half of my maternity clothes are not "suitable" for work. The end result is me being VERY frusterated and feeling really crappy on a regular basis because I always think I dont look good or as put together as I would like. Yes I am emotional and at times semi-irrational. Duh! If you've been there, you understand.
So this past Sunday I got ready fo church put on my dress and then was trying to find jewlery to match and nothing was working....just another frusterating moment, until I remembered the necklace Papa gave me. It was perfect! All the sudden everything matched, I felt put together, and yes I even let a couple tears go. I was so happy to finally feel good about what I was wearing! I hurried out to show Jonny and he didnt find it quite as exciting as I did and if you are reading this you may not either and may even think I am a little silly, but it was a big deal for me.
So thank you Papa for giving me the perfect gift so many years ago and making me, a pregnant, emotional girl, feel so much better when I really needed it!
