We celebrated Jonny's birthday in two shifts once he finally got home. Charlissa, Adam, Meredith and I waited up till about midnight on Friday night for Jonny to get home and in the mean time we made banners that said Happy Birthday and Welcome Home out of paper plates, markers, and tape. We had also taped streamers around the whole living room and hanging in the door. We were all so excited for him to be home and everyone knows Jonny cant stand not knowing what his presents are so we had him open them pretty quick after he got home.
He got some pretty good stuff. He also got some blank canvases so he can continue to develop his painting skills!
On Saturday night we went out to dinner with some friends and then came back to our house for cake and to play some games. We love playing card and board games! We stay up really late and its great because once you buy them they dont cost anything again!
We had a great time and Jonny ended up having a much better birthday than he thought he was going to have!

Jonny...you look like you belong in CA with the hair and tan! I think that if you parted your hair on the side you could pull of a classic Ken doll look. We miss you guys!
